The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Soldiers Group

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a wide array of characters, and a exciting storyline including angels, fiends, and sinister influences expanding in power within the city.

Heads-up: Revealing details for the latest installment of this adventure are included.

The Soldiers Table Introduced

Episode 3 finished on a dramatic pause and introduced the premier party of adventurers who will separate from the primary party to undertake their independent quest, separate from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table features the determined fighter (played by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Considering 13 cast members, it was clear from the start that maintaining everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

That’s why, the initial installments of this story serve as an Introduction, intertwining the personal journeys before splitting into three separate parties: Fighters, Strategists, and Explorers.

What Defines the Combat Party

Per the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for participants who enjoy a classically intense combat and conflict-driven story mode where diplomatic options are scarce.

Initially, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might look out of place, but the developments of the latest installment show why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

For one thing, the group has a clear idea where to head next after a violent first encounter with the enemy group.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose death initiated the campaign’s events—exploited The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, invading Thjazi’s hideout, attacking the character, and swiping all the enchanted items to auction.

Casimir then cleared his debts and ran away to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, north of the city, with Cyd close behind.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each adventurer has a specific drive to depart the urban setting:

  • The rogue, as the companion and closest confidant, wants retribution.
  • Kattigan has experience in the region and cautions that it is a hostile environment.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having defied his house’s orders to eliminate the fighter and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their status as prominent individuals in House Halovar could assist the group reach locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, The grateful character vowed a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his rescue and will now follow him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are sought by the authorities that rule Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • The rogue and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and The cleric turned against the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • The fighter is targeted for elimination by the family.

This leaves them little choice but to journey toward the northern region in search of the traitor.

What’s Next?

Based on the recent installment’s follow-up content, we find out that the combat party will not appear the following episode, leaving the remaining eight participants to round up the Seekers and Schemers groups.

Fans can expect learning which players will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, released on the upcoming Thursday.
